How to Defrost A Slice of American Cheese

The story begins on Sunday, late in the afternoon.

I spent the whole day raking, aside from breaks for meals and a few rounds of a silly computer game.

I was very tired.

I graciously offered to make everyone in the house an egg sandwich. Egg sandwiches are very easy to make, healthful, and tasty.

Egg Sandwich Recipe

2 slices white bread
2 eggs
1 slice American cheese
Ketchup
Butter

Place the bread in the toaster, but don’t turn it on
Melt the butter in a fry pan
Turn the toaster on
Cook the eggs in the butter, any way you like
When the toaster goes off, the eggs will probably be done
Put some ketchup on the first slice of toast
Add the eggs on top of the ketchup
Put the cheese on top and cover with the second slice of toast

But wait!

What do you do if the cheese is frozen? You can’t put frozen cheese in an egg sandwich. It’s against the law.

Put the cheese in your back pocket.

If the cheese is not individually wrapped, don’t do this. In that case, you should put the cheese on the ketchup and then put the eggs on top. I’ve never tried that - but it would probably be okay.
