First, go find a tie-dye t-shirt. A recipe like this requires creative inspiration.
You’ll need some baking potatoes, leftover (cooked) salmon, milk, butter, flour, onion, dill, cheddar cheese, broccoli and carrots (or other suitable vegetables).
Put the potatoes in the toaster oven, and tell the (older) kids to keep an eye on it.
Go to the Salvation Army and donate the stuff that’s been in the garage for a while. It’s good stuff.
Stop at the supermarket on the way back to get cat food, whipped cream, and margarine.
Return home.
Cut the salmon into small pieces.
Make a cream sauce. 1 tablespoon flour, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 cup milk. Stir constantly until it thickens.
Add some dill and a bit of onion (maybe). Consider white wine.
Then, add the salmon and stir it up. Set it aside.
By now, the potatoes are baked.
Scoop out the inside to make little boats or shells.
Take the stuff you just scooped out and mix it in the cream sauce. Be sure to break it up so all the lumps (potato and salmon) are about the same size.
Take the creamed salmon and potato and place it in the potato shells.
Sprinkle with a good amount of shredded cheddar cheese. You can never use too much cheese.
Broil just long enough to melt the cheese.
While it’s broiling, microwave the broccoli and carrots for 4 or 5 minutes, stirring once.
Serve immediately.
