Today’s Global Toaster Award goes to the guy across the street with a pickup truck that’s almost as big as an 18 wheeler.
We got about 8 inches of snow, then it rained.
If you’ve ever moved snow, you’ll know this ensures the snow is extremely heavy and a royal pain to clear from the driveway.
The Toaster shoveled the snow into his massive pickup truck, drove ACROSS the street (I do mean across, as in 22 feet), and then shoveled the snow out of his truck into the unused portion of someone else’s yard.
Granted, his pickup truck probably used less gas than my snowblower, and probably emitted fewer harmful chemicals, but that can be our little secret. I get a Junior Toaster award, mitigated by possibility. That means - I could not have cleared the driveway without using the snowblower.
